CSR Task Force

MAIN OBJECTIVES 

  • Follow the same line of Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the Ministry of Petroleum’s Modernization Program, so that the Sustainable Development Task Force can contribute to the country’s ambitions and developments. 
  • Include the young generation into the Task Force plans and actions, which also consists of increasing sustainable development awareness to the young professionals in the oil and gas sector. 
  • Promote social investment and charity initiatives. 
  • Pursue quick wins. 
  • Develop strategies to work on low-budget projects. 
  • Support companies to contemplate their social, economic and environmental duties towards the society. 
  • To identity gaps and areas requiring urgent attention from the sector. 
  • Support the national plans to combat climate change and poverty. 
  • Organize a yearly CSR Oil and Gas Day.

EOG Committee was launched in 2012 to unify the industry’s voice and to work in parallel with the government to enhance the well-being of the petroleum industry. Egypt Oil & Gas Committee brings together exploration and production companies, service companies, government entities, and leading industry experts under one roof to address the challenges the industry is facing, and to find potential solutions.
