Energy Transition Task Force

MAIN OBJECTIVES

  • To plan, recommend, create, evaluate and promote initiatives focusing on achieving net-zero emissions by mid-century. 
  • Sharing the best practices in innovation and promoting new solutions to meet sustainability and efficiency. 
  • Initiate and organize events. 
  • To enhance private-public sector cooperation between local and international entities to facilitate energy transition. 
  • To offer a platform for an innovative energy transition ideas. 
  • To train and educate the younger generation on the importance of using clean energy.

EOG Committee was launched in 2012 to unify the industry’s voice and to work in parallel with the government to enhance the well-being of the petroleum industry. Egypt Oil & Gas Committee brings together exploration and production companies, service companies, government entities, and leading industry experts under one roof to address the challenges the industry is facing, and to find potential solutions.
